“Completing my education while raising my young son was very challenging but also rewarding. Growing up I experienced anxiety and I was surprised how much speaking with a therapist allowed me to develop self-awareness and agency over my life. This sparked an interest for me in this work and a passion for creating safe spaces for people to explore their personal journeys. When I am not in the office, I can be found enjoying time at the gym, hiking, playing soccer, traveling, and watching my son play hockey and lacrosse.”
Ben Hill
Registered Clinical Counsellor, MA, RCC
I grew up right here in Langford, my path to counselling is shaped by over a decade in the
helping profession, my own lived experience overcoming adversity, and a long history in highly

rebuild after a setback. I bring that same grounded, resilient energy into my clinical work,
blending real-world understanding with professional expertise.
In the therapy room, my goal is to create a space where you can completely let your guard

collaborative, open processing. Together, we will map out your patterns, explore new
perspectives, and build concrete strategies at your pace, whether that means trying new skills
today or taking time to feel supported first.
I offer trauma-informed, evidence-based care for teenagers, adults, and elders. I draw primarily
from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioural
Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Narrative Therapy to help clients
